Mr. Sirous Yasayi, born in 1945, manages the Yas Sabz Iranians group. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and has an exceptional 32 years of experience (since 1992) in processing Green Peeled Pistachio Kernels. He established his own company in 2015 and has continued to this day.
The Iranian Green Yas Farm Pistachio Processing Company was established in 2016 and has a nominal capacity of 37 tons of green pistachio kernels per month. A brief description of the work process is provided below:
The process involves receiving dry pistachios, shelling them to obtain the kernels, separating the shells from the kernels, and sorting by color according to the green color grade (color palette), which is designated by the following grades:
AAA / AA+ / AA / A+ / A / BB / B+ / B / Saffron.
The following designations are used for split and diced green kernels:
Split A / Split B / Diced A / Diced B.
Finally, the products are vacuum sealed, packaged, and stored in a cold storage facility.
So far, the export destinations for this company have been Europe and Japan. Currently, there are 75 employees working in this organization. Additionally, the company has successfully obtained certifications for FSSC22000, HACCP, ISO 22000, ISO9001, and BRC.
